Julie Zeff LCSW, CPCC Individual & Couples Counseling
Maybe it looks like things are “fine” on the outside—but inside your relationship, or within yourself, something feels off.
Maybe conversations turn into tension or shutdown. Maybe you’re walking on eggshells, feeling misunderstood, or stuck in patterns you don’t know how to change. Or maybe you’re carrying stress, grief, anxiety or a life transition that feels heavier than expected.
I work with individuals and couples who want more than surface-level coping—they want to understand what’s actually happening beneath the patterns to find a different way forward.
With over 25 years of experience, I help you slow things down, make sense of your thoughts, emotions, responses, and begin to shift the way you relate—to yourself and to the people you care about most.
Our work is collaborative and engaged. I won’t just sit back and nod—I’ll help you see what’s getting in the way and support you in creating meaningful, lasting change.
I also work with parents and their adult children when relationships have become strained or disconnected and everyone wants a better way through.

I graduated from University of Chicago with an MSW in 1998. While in graduate school, I completed my Massage Therapy training at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy with the vision to combine body wisdom and psychotherapy. Shortly after, I completed a Gestalt Therapy – Couples, Family and Small Group Systems Training at the Gestalt Institute in Cleveland, Ohio and worked as an LCSW doing individual, couple, family and group counseling. I was then drawn to Life Coaching and Ana Forrest Yoga, received certificates of training in both, and opened my own life coaching practice in 2002. For over 15 years, I coached clients and facilitated groups, all over the country and over the phone. I wrote a book, Vivid Living for Busy Moms: Coach Yourself to an Extraordinary Life, published a blog, and wrote numerous articles. In 2020, I began working at Jewish Family & Career Services in Dunwoody, Georgia, as a LCSW doing individual, couple, and group counseling and currently work fully in private practice bringing all my passions together.
My private practice is super accessible - it's all remote/telehealth. I work with clients who live anywhere in the State of Georgia. Clients can take their session from anyplace (in GA) that their computer, iPad, or phone will reach.
